Community Guidelines
Proiproi works because people show up with real projects and genuine intent to collaborate. These guidelines keep it that way — for hobbyists posting a passion project, independent creatives building a team, and professionals recruiting specialists alike.
The spirit of it
Post projects you actually intend to build. Describe roles honestly. Treat applicants — and creators — the way you'd want to be treated if the roles were reversed. Proiproi is project-first, not transactional: if what you're posting is really a paid job, use a freelance or hiring platform instead.
Do and don't
Do
- Describe your project and roles clearly and honestly
- Respond to applicants, even to decline
- Keep project pages and profiles up to date
- Report content that looks like spam, harassment, or disguised paid work
Don't
- Post spam or content unrelated to a real project
- List a paid job or freelance gig as a "collaboration"
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against another user
- Impersonate someone else or misrepresent who you are
How we handle reports
Every report is reviewed individually. Here's generally what to expect:
| Category | What happens |
|---|---|
| Spam | Removed immediately |
| Paid work disguised as collaboration | Removed with an explanation to the poster |
| Harassment or harmful content | Removed immediately, account blocked |
| Vague or low-quality posts | Allowed — not everyone has a polished pitch on day one |
| Borderline or ambiguous cases | Reviewed individually; generally left live while monitored |
There's no formal appeals process in this version of proiproi. If you think a decision was made in error, you can still reach out — see below.
Communities
Community creators and admins set the tone for their own space and can moderate within it, but everyone — creators, admins, and members — is still bound by these guidelines. Some communities are visible only to people with a matching email domain; that affects who can find the community, not the standards it's held to.
Reporting something
Use the Report link on any project, profile, or community, or contact us directly at support@proiproi.com. Include a link or description of what you're reporting and why.
Changes to these guidelines
As proiproi grows, these guidelines may evolve — including introducing a formal appeals process. We'll update the date above when they do.
